He contributes to various communities, including Angel City Fusion, FusionVibe, SB Fusion, Entangled Fusion, UCSB Cotillion Dance, Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Team, and more. His teaching seeks to make Fusion's creative goals attainable through foundational technique, practical choreography, an emphasis on moving(over talking), and a welcoming participatory space.

Scarlett
Scarlett rekindled her love for dance in the swing to blues pipeline. Now, her most prominent styles are blues, tango and micro. She teaches, organizes, and DJs in the blues, lindy, and fusion communities of the western United States and directs the Fusion Lounge at Atomic Ballroom in Southern California. Students can expect to focus on foundational technique in her classes, particularly in comparing and contrasting core dance styles, with a blend of silliness and practical instruction.

Hunter Doughty
Dr. Hunter Doughty is a professional competitive ballroom dancer and teacher with twenty years of experience. She is on staff at Atomic Ballroom and an Adjuct Professor of dance at Golden West Community College. Hunter is excited to cover ‘opposition’ internally and in connection with a partner. She’ll be teaching fun moves with juicy details in contrabody, counter-balance, and counter-tension technique to have you dancing like a pro.

Megan Aveni
Megan Aveni teaches Lindy Hop at Atomic Ballroom and has explored and enjoyed this dance for 14 years. She's excited to share how history influences connection and how we can use swing elements to communicate across a variety of musical moods. Bring your whole heart -- your joy, your grief, and everything in between -- as we dive into the incredible expression that's available through swing-fusion dance!

Robin Chow
From hip hop beginnings, and finding social dance through Lindy Hop, Robin came across Blues in 2018 and has been a passionate student and practitioner ever since. His teaching centers on the belief that dance lives in everyone, and is always pushing for self-expression along with respect, curiosity and humility for the culture and aesthetics of the many dance styles in the world.
